There is uptodate documentation in the wiki:

The following commandline checks out the kernel cvs devel branch:
$ CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvs/pkgs cvs co
rpms/kernel/devel
