I'm afraid I also experience a RAM-rinsing with this installed. Google Desktop, recently released under a proprietary license, is even buggier. I have had it running for three days now and it has yet to complete its indexing. /me remembers its beta. Hopefully this app along with others like tracker will make the beagle team sort out the issues above - I think they may have been resting on their laurels a little.
Personally, I have never found the need for yellow stickies on my desktop.
I can only guess this is a licensing issue a-la-iceweasel.
+1 although should this need a specific support channel?
+1 - I do not think that the default homepage in firefox is enough.
I have no problems burning in fedora - what exactly is the issue you have here?

* Desktop folder with examples of what "this linux thing" can do :)
