Hello,
sience FC7 i am not more able to set the (E)IDE 32-bit I/O support
and multiple sector I/O sience fedora 7
on Fedora 5 and 6 there was no problem i have write the comandos in
rc.local (/sbin/hdparm -c3 -m16 /dev/hda) (now it /dev/sda) and works.
now on fc7 don't wokrs anymore all opts are marked as "off" only runs in
UDMA 5 Mode. i have this options set because it have a better
input/output Support/performance on my IDE/ATA100 HDD.
Why hdparm not works anymore. I think it is the new SATA Protocoll.
The Error that appears is:
[root@localhost jovan]# /sbin/hdparm -c3 -m16 /dev/sda
/dev/sda:
