Tetex deltarpm

Some of you may have noticed that when using yum-presto to download the
FC6 Tetex update 3.0-34, the deltarpms didn't apply cleanly and you
ended up downloading the full rpms.

The reason for this is that tetex-latex automatically modifies files
created by both tetex and tetex-dvips, but those files aren't marked as
configuration files and their verify bit is set. Because of this,
deltarpm has not way of knowing that it shouldn't try to diff these
files. A bug was opened on this problem back in 2005
(http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=158758), but it
doesn't look like anything has been done yet to fix this.

What should be done with this?

Jonathan
