Xen kernel loads audio driver but misses pcm bits

Hi,
I have trouble with Xen and my M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 card (ice1712 based). When I boot with a regular kernel everything work fine but when I boot the Xen kernel the modules get loaded but the pcm mixer seems to be missing. Running system-config-soundcard yields the following scsrun.log:

ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1357:(_snd_pcm_hw_open) Invalid value for card
aplay: main:550: audio open error: No such device
cat: /etc/asound.conf: No such file or directory
amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such device
Running from command-line...

I filed a bug here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=196045
(actually I filed that bug 9 months ago but the problem still exists)

Regards,
  Dennis
