That's probably why we need different spins so e.g. the Desktop and KDE spins doesn't need to pull in these bits but other spins may. Or maybe it can be solved in other ways, e.g. the XFCE meta package pulls in e.g. cpuspeed if they don't have that in their desktop. Either way, I don't care. Anyway, we need the ability to run services like g-p-m when no-one is logged in and hopefully that will land in Fedora 8.
