No I haven't... I want to, but I don't have much time for it... Have to code Java for University and study a lot. But will try to read some logs and maybe find the bug next weekend. If someone has more time before that and experienced the same, be my guest to help!

Have you looked into anything regarding gnome-screen-saver yet?  Have you tried debugging the problem?
