The issue is the 'switchroot' problem that began with rawhide update
20070215 and the introduction of kernel-2.6.20-1.2930.fc7.

I think the problem I'm talking about is :

Is it just me or is the 2.6.20 kernel about as bad as we've had so far..
Doesn't boot on SCSI (reports of SATA too) and IRQ migration completely
(hard) locks SMP boxes
