I think you are confused by the fact that Intel is packaging a snapshot of the stack to enable their driver on older kernels. The iwlwifi driver is the new version, that does _not_ require binary userland bits. There should be no licensing issue with the driver in Fedora. I'm not 100% sure what the firmware license will be, but that shouldn't be significantly different from the current ipw2x00 drivers. Hth! John -- John W.
