It would be interesting to get the real AMD vs. Intel numbers :-)

I can confirm this. A dual dual-core 5140 2.33GHz system gets reported :
        numCPUs: 4
        CPUSpeed: 1999
As it is currently running at 2GHz indeed (ondemand governor).
