What switch are you talking to. We have to set our switches to forced 100 Mbps, Duplex and port fast enabled for the link to come up fast enough for the code not to time out on e100 drivers.

It's not the network driver -- it's dhcp. Set the address manually and
it should work OK.


The problem is exactly the same on a physical box (e100 NIC).
