Hello, the 'bind' package has a dependency on 'perl'. This huge dependency is introduced by a single '/usr/sbin/namedGetForwarders' script which is not needed for most setups. Because none of bind's base-dependencies requires 'perl' and 'namedGetForwarders' is not part of bind's core functionality this dependency must vanish. Possible solutions: * move this stuff into an own subpackage (e.g. -dbus-tools) * rewrite namedGetForwarders in a programming language or in shell [Bug #176100] Enrico
