It depends on what "desktop" features you want. IceWM provides a taskbar if
that's what you expect of a desktop. As for desktop icons, you can use ROX
Filer to display these with any WM (including IceWM).
Personally, I just run KDE on my 160 MB RAM laptop though. ;-)
