FWIW, I can reproduce this one very easily on my machine : rm -rf ~/.torcs/ torcs ... then press "enter" many times to start a "quick race" ... start driving and "bump" into anything (car or scenery) -> Segfault :-( On the machine I'm testing this on, the NVidia binary drivers are installed. I doubt it might have anything to do as this seems more related to sound, but who knows. My audio device is an integrated "Intel Corporation 631xESB/632xESB High Definition Audio Controller" Please have your students reply to the bug report if they need me to do any kind of testing for them, provide a core file etc. This can actually be interesting debugging, and good practice for the (not so uncommon) case where you need to guide someone who can reproduce the problem ;-) Matthias -- Clean custom Red Hat Linux rpm packages : http://freshrpms.net/ Fedora Core release 6 (Zod) - Linux kernel 2.6.18-1.2835.fc6 Load : 0.62 0.46 0.34 -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
