It happens mostly on boot for me. It's probably an timing issue.
I don't boot much tho, thanks to suspend.

service network restart;service NetworkManager restart

fixes things for me.

The HWADDR line should be set by the installer / system-config-network,
not by hand so this is just a bug if not already.
