dri module is loaded but then it is unloaded. please help. is there any
workaround?the xorg-x11-drv-sis is installed but still the desktop

You don't.
SiS' numbering scheme is utter insanity, but basically it looks like this:
(core: model numbers)
Old: 5597, 5598, 6236, 530, 620
300: 300, 305, 540, 630, 730
315: 315, 55x, 650, 651, 740, 661, 741
330: 330 (aka "Xabre"), 760, 761
340: 34x, and various XGI Volari cards (Z7, Z9, V3XT, V3XE, V5, V8)
The SiS DRI driver _only_ supports the 300 core, which means that's the
only series where compiz is going to work. Fixing that would basically
involve writing a new DRI driver, possibly up to one for each core.
