Don't. Hand slap noted, however, if FC5 repos are enabled, they came that way from the FC6T1 distribution or a subsequent update -- I certainly haven't modified the repo files. To wit: [root@gadwall yum.repos.d]# grep enabled /etc/yum.repos.d/* /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-core.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-core.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-core.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo:enabled=1 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-development.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-extras-development.repo:enabled=1 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-extras-development.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-extras-development.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-extras.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-extras.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-extras.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-legacy.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-legacy.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo:enabled=0 /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo:enabled=0 Upon encountering an nfs-utils dependency error on the first yum update following FC6T1 installation this past Friday, I heeded your (IIRC) advice to another list member and simply deleted the FC6T1 version of nfs-utils (an rc version, I believe), and reran the update without error. Then ten hours ago a I ran another update and encountered the instant error. If I need to be doing something different, please let me know.
