You can disable stripping by (for example):
%define __spec_install_post /usr/lib/rpm/brp-compress
%define __os_install_post /usr/lib/rpm/brp-compress
See the original definition of these macros for what is left out now.
You can also add your own version of /usr/lib/rpm/xos/brp-strip there,
if you want.
