I picked up the Fedora testing source RPM for kernel 2.6.17 and built it. When it boots these messages appear: On my HP dc7600U the last messages printed are: PCI: BUIS Bug: MCFG area is not E820-reserved PCI: Not using MMCONFIG The attached patch created by Chuck Ebbert on the Linux Kernel dev list on 15/06/06 09:41 fixes the problem.
