	Slight twist on that is:

  a) Kill the applet (e.g. killall -u markmc gweather-applet-2)
  b) Ignore the warning dialog from the panel for now
  c) start it on the commandline in the debugger
  d) Click reload in the warning dialog and it will pick up the
     instance you started in c)
