After a reboot, X works fine and the logs indicate that I have DRI/DRM enabled, wow! glxgears gives me 1200 fps... but I have no idea what results I should expect, and forgot to run it before the upgrade to be able to compare. I've tried enabling compositing_manager in metacity and restarting it, but then got : Window manager warning: Log level 16: Disabling compositor since the server is missing at least one of the COMPOSITE, DAMAGE, FIXES or TEST extensions Which is strange since my X log seems to indicate that all those extensions are present (although FIXES and TEST are called XFIXES and XTEST)... I'm missing something, but I'm not sure what :-/ Matthias -- Clean custom Red Hat Linux rpm packages : http://freshrpms.net/ Fedora Core release 5.89 (Rawhide) - Linux kernel 2.6.16-1.2141_FC6 Load : 0.06 0.38 0.28 -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
