Problems with kernel-2.6.15-1.2041_FC5

Dear sirs,

Kernel-2.6.15-1.2041_FC5 does not recognize USB devices and have problems in DNS. Also locks looking for bluetooth devices.

Computer box uses an ASUS P4S800-MX SE

In this board and with all the kernels up to the moment I've experienced enormous problems with linear and raid1 devices. Linux blocks (just like M$), all IRQs dead (flatline dead) and the only way is to power off the computer and restart. After that, when examining system log, not a single message indicates what can be the origin of the problem. It is really anoying and a major setback.

Both linear devices and raid1 devices were built using standard (or, in other words, that should work) procedures. Both disks are SATA, identical. Partitions used for raid1 are identical in both disks (same starting point, same ending point, etc). Locks happen, usually, when burst recording large files.

Best regards,

Casimiro
