there is no principle 2Gb limit since the 2.4 kernels (RHL 7.1 for those
who still remember that one). So either the tools that report are broken
(eg using the wrong data types) or the tools that set things up are
somehow.. but it'd be odd if it was this later since it for sure used to
work.
