You can fix it with my patch:

for beta3 http://dclam.com/share/param_patch_b3.txt
for cvs http://dclam.com/share/param_patch_cvs.txt

go to Modules dir and:
$ patch -p2 < ../../param_patch_b3.txt

that assumes you are using beta 3, and that the patch is two levels
down.
