sigh... so this goes waaay off to an irrelevant tangent. My point was
that having a bug isn't a valid reason to upgrade to a major new version
(and all the dependency hell that that generates). The more right
solution is to fix the bug if it's important enough.

If that's what you want, go use Debian stable and leave us alone plz kthx.
