Hi, same problem here.
I already mentioned this problem in #fedora-devel @ Freenode but
they could not reproduce it. Maybe this is a 64bit specific problem ?
For a screenshot showing the same behaviour with iptraf and a dump
of my environment variables see http://www.ftd4linux.nl/ncurses_bug.png

Installation details: fresh Rawhide installation as of last sunday
(jan 8), updated to latest packages available. Computer is an
Acer Aspire 5024WLMi notebook (with a 64bit AMD Turion proc).
