FC4 hangs after "ata2: disabling port"

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Dear FC4 devels & Users,

The Fedora C4 hangs when trying to boot exactly after "enabling the
swap space [ok] ".
I guess swap space is enabled properly with 'OK' message.

The system has 2 SATA disks. I have installed FC4 on /dec/sdb2 (part 2
of disk2).

I suspect there is some problem that the following kernel message is
trying to tell:
    ata2: disabling port
    INIT: version 2.85 booting

Can some one please elobarate on what exactly could be the problem?

Regards,
Mukund Jampala
