Java objects = bloaty. http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?JavaObjectOverheadIsRidiculous I hope gcj's ahead of time compilation is capable of cutting down some of this bloat. (Notably, look how much smaller mlnet is. mldonkey supports bittorrent, though I haven't tried it yet. The control freak in me likes azureus, but my mere 512mb RAM is really hurting... hmmmm...)
