Builds and updates missing from Fedora 42 compared to Fedora 41

Hi all,

It's this time of the year again. Looks like there's quite a few
updates that were submitted to Fedora 41 but not to Fedora 42 and / or
Rawhide.

Some seem to be either caused by confusion about the ongoing freeze,
but a lot are just ... missing. And packit seems to be a major
offender here.

Full list of package downgrades from Fedora 41 -> 42 included below.

Please take a look and fix things. We don't want users to get
downgraded to older package versions on upgrade from Fedora 41 to 42.

---

- debmirror-0:2.43-1.fc41 > debmirror-0:2.42-2.fc42

packit created no update for F42, but for F41, F40, and F43.

- exim-0:4.98.1-1.fc41 > exim-0:4.98-4.fc42

This seems to be a security update that was not submitted to F42+
because the package is FTBFS there.

- fcitx5-lua-0:5.0.14-1.fc41 > fcitx5-lua-0:5.0.13-4.fc42

This update was unpushed for no clear reason, the corresponding
updates for F41 and F40 are stable:
https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-63cd1b3f96

- gnome-password-generator-0:2.2.2-1.fc41 >
gnome-password-generator-0:2.1.0-19.fc42

This was submitted for Rawhide, F41, and F40, but not F42.

- haruna-0:1.3.3-2.fc41 > haruna-0:1.3.2-1.fc42

This was updated to 1.3.3 in F41 and F40 but not F42 or Rawhide.

- keepassxc-0:2.7.10-1.fc41 > keepassxc-0:2.7.9-9.fc42

This was updated to 2.7.10 in F41 and F40 but not F42 or Rawhide.

- labwc-0:0.8.3-1.fc41 > labwc-0:0.8.2-3.fc42

Another case of wrong packit configuration, not submitting an update
for F42 but for Rawhide, F41, and F40.

- lollypop-0:1.4.41-1.fc41 > lollypop-0:1.4.40-4.fc42

This update was submitted to Rawhide, F41, and F40, but not F42.

- lynis-0:3.1.4-1.fc41 > lynis-0:3.1.3-2.fc42

This update was only submitted to F41, F40, and EPEL branches, but not F42+.

- mbedtls-0:2.28.9-1.fc41 > mbedtls-0:2.28.8-1.fc41

This was updated to 2.28.9 only on Fedora 41, not F42+.

- openxr-0:1.1.46-1.fc41 > openxr-0:1.1.45-2.fc42

Problem with 1.1.36 and ongoing jsoncpp rebuilds.

- procdump-0:3.4.0-1.fc41 > procdump-0:3.3.0-1.fc42

This was only updated to version 3.4.0 but not in Fedora 42+.

- python-dbusmock-0:0.34.3-1.fc41 > python-dbusmock-0:0.34.2-2.fc42

- python-evdev-0:1.9.1-1.fc41 > python-evdev-0:1.7.1-3.fc42

This was updated to version 1.9.1 in Fedora Rawhide and F41, but not F42.

- python-podman-3:5.4.0.1-1.fc41 > python-podman-3:5.3.0-2.fc42

Yet another case of wrong packit configuration, not submitting an
update for F42 but for Rawhide, F41, and F40.

- python-ramalama-0:0.6.2-1.fc41 > python-ramalama-0:0.6.1-1.fc42

And another "wrong packit config" victim ...

- python-tifffile-0:2025.2.18-1.fc41 > python-tifffile-0:2025.1.10-2.fc42

And another one ...

- python-valkey-0:6.1.0b2-1.fc41 > python-valkey-0:6.1.0-2.fc42

This seems to be a versioning snafu but otherwise OK.

- shairport-sync-0:4.3.7-0.fc41 > shairport-sync-0:4.3.5-1.fc42

This package was updated to version 4.3.7 in F43, F41, and EPEL 9, but
no update was submitted for Fedora 42.

- soundtracker-0:1.0.5-1.fc41 > soundtracker-0:1.0.4-3.fc41

This update was submitted to Rawhide, F41, and F40, but not F42.

- wireshark-1:4.4.4-1.fc41 > wireshark-1:4.4.3-1.fc42

This update was submitted to Rawhide, F41, and F40, but not F42.
