this looks like a problem with the new installonlyn plugin.

edit  /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/installonlyn.conf
change to enabled=0

try to do the yum update kernel again
if it succeeds.. file a bug against the rawhide yum package in
bugzilla with the traceback
and include the information from uname -a
