I too am surprised and astonished that this would happen with so little communication with Peter, and in such a public manner.  I too have found Peter to be very helpful over the 10+ years I've known him, and have never known him to abuse his provenpackager privileges.  I know as a former FPL and FESCo member that there are lots of complaints and people-related matters like this that require a certain level of privacy, but based on what little I know this doesn't pass the sniff test for me.  I look forward to more details and transparency from FESCo.
