I had the impression that globally installed configurations
(e.g. /etc/dconf/db/local.d/) should be "committed" with
# dconf update

Or is this already done by a reboot / logout/in ?


Here an current example

$ rpm -q --scripts ibus-1.5.25-5.el9.x86_64 |tail -2
posttrans scriptlet (using /bin/sh):
dconf update || :
