Heads-up: python-python-ulid to be updated from 2.7.0 to 3.0.0 in F42/Rawhide

In one week, 2024-10-20, or slightly later, I plan to update the python-python-ulid package in F42/Rawhide from 2.7.0 to 3.0.0[1].

This release contains a minor API-incompatible change[2]: TypeError is raised instead of ValueError when a constructor is called with value of the wrong type.

I already validated compatibility with the sole directly-dependent package, python-pydantic-extra-types, and upstream merged my PR to loosen the version bound in order to support python-ulid 3.x[3]. I will backport that PR as a patch in [4], either before or at the same time as the python-python-ulid update. I believe that no other packages should be affected.
