I always clean install each new version of Fedora using the Workstation LIve, and preserve the data in /home. After reading this, I looked at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_partitioning_custom_btrfs_preserve_home and saw that it now specifically says not to use the Workstation Live on 41+.
