Hey all, I’m trying to get bdftopcf built for EPEL 10 but it’s failing with
the aforementioned error (No matching package to install:
'pkgconfig(xorg-macros) >= 1.8). I guess I don’t understand what kind of
package this is, and who to contact to see what can be done; I’ve dealt
with regular packages but this seems to be a special package type.

It's not special:

dnf repoquery --qf '%{sourcerpm}\n' --whatprovides 'pkgconfig(xorg-macros)'

Updating and loading repositories:
Repositories loaded.
xorg-x11-util-macros-1.20.1-2.fc41.src.rpm

You want to contact xorg-x11-util-macros component owner.
