This is with binutils 2.42.90-1.fc41
It takes 40+ minutes to failure. Any ideas what might be causing this are
appreciated.
There is:

In the spec. Which might explain why this only happens on x86_64 (%{ix86} is
ExcludeArched, %{arm} is EOL).
Actually, I see binutils-gold installed in the f40 root.log, but not in the
rawhide root.log.
So this is likely the reason it fails, binutils-gold not installed. I will
BuildRequire it.

Remove "Requires: binutils-gold" from binutils sub-package.
