Hi all,

I'm currently shepherding getting catch v3 into EPEL 9 (bringing along
the catch2 compatibility package, so the impact is minimal) - and to
make sure no dependent package is left in a state where they can't be
rebuilt, I'm coordinating the work in a side tag.

See for example https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/cli11/pull-request/1

The problem is - the scratch build still happens against EPEL 9, and
there's currently no way to direct it to use a side tag, so of course it
fails and the package maintainers sometimes assumed something is wrong
with the PR.

I see that Depends-On is already supported, so I figure we can also add
something like Side-Tag as an option.

Does this sound like a useful idea, and if so, where should I file it?
Zuul itself uses Storyboard, but IDK if that's too general and this
request is too Fedora-specific -- I notice Storyboard uses Ubuntu One
for login, for instance.

Zuul already supports this in CentOS Stream, but not in Fedora/EPEL.

I opened https://pagure.io/fedora-ci/general/issue/240 3 years ago ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
