Using mkksiso with Fedora DVDs doesn't work

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've had a few reports that my mkksiso tool isn't working with the
Fedora DVDs. I've managed to track down what's going on, but I don't
really have a workaround for it other than fixing pungi. The details are
in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2278677

FWIW it works fine with the netinst boot.iso, there is a problem with
how pungi has been making the DVDs and I didn't notice since I only use
mkksiso with the boot.iso

I've written a quick script that takes a boot.iso and the broken dvd.iso
and makes a new dvd.iso that can be used with mkksiso (or just edit the
script to add your kickstart).

https://bcl.fedorapeople.org/scripts/fix-fedora-dvds

Run it like so:
./fix-fedora-dvds boot.iso dvd.iso fixed.iso
