Hello everyone,
A friendly reminder that the Fedora elections nominations for F40 will close tomorrow, May 8th, so it's not too late to nominate yourself or someone you know (with their consent) to be a candidate for one of the following governance bodies of the Fedora Project. Below are the details of each group, with some examples of what elected members can work on during their term and a link to the nominations page for each.
- Fedora Council - two seats
- Help shape the Fedora strategy & provide guidance on project policies
- Nominations Page
- Fedora Mindshare Committee - one seat
- Help with Outreachy, mentorship & ambassador work
- Nominations Page
- Fedora Engineering Steering Committee (FESCo) - four seats
- Provide technical leadership and make technical decisions for Fedora
- Nominations Page
- EPEL Steering Committee - four seats
- Help shape and steer the EPEL overall strategy and provide guidance on EPEL policies
