I have reproduced the problem with a test case. The problem is in
cython. It generates code with this type
of problem in some cases (inlined methods of derived classes).

I have reported the problem upstream
https://github.com/cython/cython/issues/6033

I don't know how to continue from here. Is it possible to build C code
with the old behaviour?
