By the way, what that link does not mention when it talks about "multiple packages for the same thing" is browsers / web engines. The Spin ships several applications using QtWebEngine, e.g., KMail, so that engine is not going away. But in addition to one or two browsers using that, which add little to no overhead size-wise, it still ships the duplicate application Firefox that bundles its own, completely different web engine.
