[Rawhide] Approaching rebase of gpgme to 1.20.0

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

later today I will start rebasing gpgme to 1.20.0 in Fedora Rawhide. I checked the scratch build with abidiff and rpminspect. No soname bumps, ABI stays stable.

The Qt bindings now support Qt6. This requires a slightly change in packaging (thanks Marie Loise Nolden):
* previously:
  * qgpgme
  * qgpgme-devel
* now:
  * qgpgme-qt5 (provides qgpgme for the backward compatibility)
  * qgpgme-qt5-devel (provides qgpgme-devel for the backward compatibility)
  * qgpgme-qt6
  * qgpgme-qt6-devel

In Fedora, both bindings are enabled. In ELN, Qt5 binding is disabled and Qt6 binding is enabled.

I built Qt consumers in a copr without any problems or interventions: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/jkucera/gpgme-1.20.0/builds/

Here are also scratch builds for Rawhide and ENL:

Regards,
Jiri
