I noticed this after recent rawhide updates. It appeared my logins were being restricted by selinux||audit. $(setenforce 0) was sufficient to let me passed the gate. I noticed the following avc denial in my audit log kernel: audit(1124974394.984:6): avc: denied { transition } for pid=4926 comm="gdm-binary" name="Xsession" dev=hda5 ino=1933254 scontext=system_u:system_r:init_t tcontext=user_u:system_r:unconfined_t tclass=process Bug#166761 (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=166761) has been filed to address this. Please post any other debug or workaround details you might have. Thanks, James Laska On Thu, 2005-08-25 at 08:40 -0400, Thomas J.
