The actual changelog is still the same size it always would have been, slightly smaller actually since all previous entries are under a single header. Just the diff for one release is much larger. I do understand the frustration. I would be glad to accept patches to stop it from happening in the future. Otherwise, it is on my list, just below a lot of other things.
