Enabling plymouth on livemedia-creator iso creation

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Way back in the day... :) livemedia-creator inherited an '--omit
plymouth' from the boot.iso creation process. The boot.iso was changed a
few years later, but lmc kept it. Fred noticed this and submitted
https://github.com/weldr/lorax/pull/1307 to conditionally fix it.

But I think we can just remove it. This has been working fine for the
boot.iso and in my testing here with a BIOS and UEFI VM it works fine
when you drop it from lmc's dracut configuration as well.

So, are there any objections to
https://github.com/weldr/lorax/pull/1308 for rawhide at least? I'm not
sure if we want to change it for F38 at this point or not (less change
is better).
