IDE_DRIVE_TASK_OUT dropped in 2.6.12?

Hi,

Is there a kernel hacker (or anybody with insight in the matter) that
could tell me why the IDE_DRIVE_TASK_OUT ioctl has been dropped? What
should I use instead to issue PIO data ATA security commands?

See
http://www.linuxhq.com/kernel/v2.6/12/Documentation/ioctl/hdio.txt
- IDE_DRIVE_TASK_OUT
+ IDE_DRIVE_TASK_OUT unimplemented

Leonard.
