Hi Dale,

Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done (except perhaps
delaying the retirement of xaos) until you become a package
maintainer:

If it does get a "stay of execution", you will be able to claim it
once you are in the packagers group, but even if that doesn't happen,
you will be able to get it reintroduced into the distribution.
