Hi everyone, most packages in Fedora install their development documentation in /usr/share/doc/%{name}-devel-%{version} I find this really annoying because every time a package gets upgraded it breaks the bookmarks I make for documentation for no good reason. Also, most upstream tarballs that actually install documentation by themselves install it in $(datadir)/doc/$(name). Is there a good reason for Fedora to override this usual location and install developer docs in this versioned location ? What do people think ?
