problem creating a kernel module rpm package

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I am trying to create a kernel module rpm package, but am running into difficulty. I have cobbled together a spec based on the following tutorial:

and I am trying to use the following command - 'fedpkg --release f36 mockbuild' - to build the package, but it is failing:

> No matching package to install: 'buildsys-build-rpmfusion-kerneldevpkgs-current-x86_64'
> Not all dependencies satisfied
> Error: Some packages could not be found.
>
> Could not execute mockbuild: Failed to execute command.

Could someone suggest a more up-to-date or relevant tutorial, or documentation please? I have been able to successfully create and build an rpm for a regular package - by following the hello example:

but creating a kmod package is proving difficult for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

J.K.
