I have an interest in this package so I started to look into this. It mostly comes down to porting to rspec 3 which I have passing.

Would you mind to take over the package from me? I inherited the package from previous maintainer together with other packages and I was never doing the right job maintaining it, mainly because I am not user of the package.
I'd be happy to take it over.
BTW are you working on this FTBFS? For now I've added minimum patches to make rubygem-bundler_ext rpm
build (with porting to rspec3) and I can commit these changes myself.
